  1. High-Voltage Engineer (BR2, 2027 car)

    Jul 2026 - present

Bronco Racing / SCU Formula SAE · Santa Clara, CA

    • Own the EV electrical architecture for the 2027 car: BMS, thermal management, charging system, data acquisition, driver display, and all low-voltage electronics.
    • Building the charging cart from scratch: rebuilding the shutdown-circuit PCB, wiring, system architecture, CAD and 3D printing, and full documentation.
    • Powertrain electronics for an Emrax 228 motor with DTI motor controller on a ~120s4p Molicel P50B pack (~432 V nominal, 504 V max, ~8.6 kWh).
    • Exploring in-cell thermal-runaway sensing (DEP BRT) as an FSAE innovation concept; vendor validation cites roughly 12 minutes of pre-vent warning.
  2. Application Engineer Intern

    Jun 2025 - Dec 2025

    STMicroelectronics · Santa Clara, CA

    • Debugged a customer's custom traction motor inverter using Lauterbach JTAG hardware and StellarStudio, resolving PWM timing faults, gate-driver issues, and current-sensing calibration errors.
    • Independently diagnosed DC bus instability and implemented a parallel-capacitor fix between the inverter and supply.
    • Built an STM32 proximity-sensing system end to end: ADC processing, timed interrupts, PWM/DAC audio output, analog low-pass filter, amplifier, speaker.
    • Authored PWM and space-vector modulation parameterization guides for internal and customer use; delivered competitive teardown analyses to ST marketing.
  3. Electrical Specialist, then High-Voltage & Co-Electrical Lead (BR1, 2026 car)

    Sep 2023 - Jun 2026

Bronco Racing / SCU Formula SAE · Santa Clara, CA

    • Programmed and configured the Orion BMS 2 for a 100s3p Molicel P45B accumulator (~360 V nominal, ~420 V max): cell monitoring, SoC algorithms, safety interlocks.
    • Programmed and installed a 540 V on-board charger and designed the charging cart with current/voltage control, safety shutdown, and deadman lock; verified FSAE EV compliance.
    • Designed schematic sections and reviewed PCBs for shutdown, charging-shutdown, precharge, discharge, and IMD circuits; caught protection-logic errors before fabrication.
    • Architected the vehicle CAN network, wrote STM32 firmware for sensor interfacing and diagnostics, and built a Python GUI for real-time CAN monitoring.
    • Soldered a 140+ thermistor accumulator harness; placement optimization improved measurement accuracy by roughly 50 percent (bench-validated).
    • Led team training on precision soldering, thermal architecture, and HV safety.
  4. Founding Technical Intern

    Jun 2024 - Aug 2024

BetterEDU Inc. · Phoenix, AZ (remote)

    • Managed Firebase and Firestore databases for an EdTech platform; debugged the iOS app through systematic testing.
    • Built company website infrastructure and implemented technical documentation.
  5. Peer Educator / TA / Grader

    Sep 2024 - Mar 2025

SCU Dept. of Mathematics & Computer Science · Santa Clara, CA

    • Tutored advanced mathematics and programming and graded coursework as assistant to Dr. Fady El Chidiac.
  6. Cyber Security Intern

    May 2023 - Aug 2023

    Odyssey CyberSecurity · Nicosia, Cyprus

    • Conducted simulated penetration testing and observed real-time monitoring for critical infrastructure; worked in Linux kernel operations and embedded-systems security.
